I suspect the poem is referencing Wim Wenders’ film, Wings of Desire, about an angel watching over divided Berlin who falls in love with a trapeze artist and decides to become human. With the late great Bruno Ganz.
Brian- Thanks for sharing this. Particularly the Kingdom Hall, LA photography. One of the most underappreciated skill set is to build with hands or design things that are tangibly built with hands. How did you feel when you were involved in the project, Brian? :)
